Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima

The views from our room were fine, yet the indoor pool prices were outrageous.

Nice pool, parking on site. Neat rooms with large breakfast included. Conveniently located close to absolutely everything you need to do in Hiroshima

Efficient check in and easy check out. Pleasant staff, new-fashioned twin/double room. Breakfast with the option for western or Japanese style and the Japanese omelette and an egg on a crepe.

Very rude staff!

The hotel had so much potential, but it didn't deliver. Dated decor everywhere, and the absence of a coffee prep kit? Really? I woudl ve been grateful for a single bottle of water too. The attitude of the staff was unwarranted. I expected a room upgrade after all the inconvenience. This stay was just a letdown, not what I hoped for.

We loved this hotel. It's large and anonymous but sometimes that's what you want. The views are wicked in both directions and the location is ideal for the Peace Park, shopping and an easy 10 minutes to okonomiyaki, food places and...  

The restaurant was fabulous for dinner or breakfast here, I had excellent dishes. It was conveniently situated, easy to get to an art museum. The staff turned out to be attentive.

Positive, The team was really good and the views were fantastic. Our room was spacious with an ideal temperature and a lovely view of the city. The dining experience was great with guest deals, and the check-in process was...

From the arrival, only good experiences... We are Spanish-speaking natives, English is impeccable on the counter; here it is. we received help for the transportation of our luggage inside the lobby and counter to the rooms!! different from the rigid practice of other...

Rhiga Royal is a hotel boasting from being the best hotel in Hiroshima. Big lobby, staff, shops and other characteristics of 5 star hotel. The room, however, was not at the level. I remember having been at Ana Crowne...  

Nice location in downtown Hiroshima.

Apart from the location the main reason for booking this hotel was the swimming pool. Please be aware that the swimming pool only has four lanes, one of which is permanently reserved for members of a "health club", so in the end for hotel guests there are only three lanes left. The opening hours are restricted (on weekdays, 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., on weekends 10 a.m.-8 p.m., children in both cases only until 6 p.m.), so not really user-friendly and probably interfering with check-out times. But what is really outrageous, is the price: 3150 Yen (i.e. ca. 30 Euro, or ca. 39 USD) for pool and sauna, if you want to use pool, gym and sauna even 6300 Yen! I will not stay in this hotel again.

Lovely views from every angle

The Rihga Royal Hotel offers fantastic panoramic views of Hiroshima, especially from the upper floors. The staff was always attentive.

While the hotels' ambiance was pleasant, the dining options on the top floor seemed overpriced and limited. It's a bit of a trek to Hiroshima station, which may not suit all travelers.

Stayed with my cousin and family, we loved the spacious rooms and the amazing views of Hiroshima. The location couldn't be better-right near shopping spots and famous sights like the Peace Park.

My kids wished there was a wider range of fun activities for them.

Hiroshima is a fabulous place to go and this hotel is one of the biggest. Great location to Peace Memorial and shopping. The staff very helpful and friendly. Spotless but all of Hiroshima is this way. Quiet...
